Jurassic World" is a science fiction adventure film that was released in 2015. It is the fourth installment in the "Jurassic Park" film series, following "Jurassic Park" (1993), "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" (1997), and "Jurassic Park III" (2001). 

Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the film is set 22 years after the events of the original "Jurassic Park." It takes place on the fictional island of Isla Nublar, where a fully operational dinosaur theme park called Jurassic World has been created. However, to boost attendance, the park's geneticists create a genetically modified hybrid dinosaur known as the Indominus rex, which ultimately escapes and wreaks havoc on the island.

The film stars Chris Pratt as Owen Grady, a velociraptor trainer, and Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing, the park's operations manager. They must work together to contain the dangerous dinosaur and protect the park's visitors. "Jurassic World" was a commercial success, becoming one of the highest-grossing films of all time. It also led to sequels, including "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" (2018) and "Jurassic World: Dominion" (scheduled for release in 2022 as of my last knowledge update).
